◉ For the Glaze :

– 1 tablespoon milk
– 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
1. Prepare the Dough :
In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add melted butter, warm milk, and the egg. Mix until a dough forms. Knead for 8-10 minutes until smooth. Cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
2. Make the Cinnamon Filling :
Combine softened butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl to create a spreadable paste.
3. Roll and Shape the Dough :
Roll out the dough into a 12×16 inch rectangle. Spread the cinnamon filling evenly over the dough. Roll it tightly into a log and slice into 1/4 inch-thick rounds.
4. Prepare the Apple Filling :
In a bowl, toss apple slices with sugar, brown sugar, lemon juice, cinnamon, nutmeg, and cornstarch.
5. Assemble the Pie :
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9-inch pie dish. Press some cinnamon roll slices into the bottom and up the sides of the dish to form a crust. Add the apple filling on top. Use remaining cinnamon roll slices to cover the apples or create a lattice pattern.
6. Bake the Pie :
Cover with foil and bake for 25 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 25-30 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool.
7. Add the Glaze :
Mix powdered sugar, milk, and vanilla extract to make the glaze. Drizzle over the pie before serving.
