Ingredients

– 6 medium-sized apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp), peeled, cored, and sliced

– 1 cup all-purpose flour

– 1 cup rolled oats

– 3/4 cup brown sugar

– 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed

– 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon

– 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg

– 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×9-inch baking dish.

6. Let cool slightly before serving. Serve warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dollop of whipped cream.
